Welcome! We offer in-person and video sessions at each location. Meeting information and intake forms will be sent once you have booked an appointment.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION PRIOR TO BOOKING:

  • We require a minimum 24hrs notice to cancel or rebook your session to another day, otherwise you will be charged the full session fee. The quickest and easiest way to cancel and/or manage your bookings is to log into your Jane account.

  • You can also call or text us at 604-638-7221. Calls will go through to the admin office, and texts will be received by both admin and your therapist during work hours. As a result, please note there may be a delay in response time.

  • If you are a regular client of Tima Musina, please contact Tima via email or text to rebook. You can find Tima’s direct email in your booking confirmation email.

  • LOW-COST COUNSELLING FEES: Most low-cost sessions with our interns cannot be claimed back with extended health providers.

We provide an initial session that is longer to give a fuller exploration of both partner's experiences and identify the difficulties that you want to change. We believe that relationship difficulties often stem from patterns that were learned in the past as a means of coping. We will help you identify the negative strategies you have adopted that leave partners disconnected and teach you new skills to create the real connection you desire.

In therapy, we focus on creating a safe environment where you can eventually be vulnerable with one another and support each other's growth and healing.

The nature of life’s experiences and living can be exceptionally fulfilling and at the same time provoke incredible challenges that can evoke internal chaos. You may not be able to control what happens to you, but we can work together to gain control over how we address, engage with, and continue to move forward given these challenges.

My belief is that therapy is a place of healing, learning, and growth. My approaches are based on supporting your needs and goals and respecting the courage it took to reach out for support. My aim is to create a safe, trusting space in therapy facilitated through non-judgmental and non-pathologizing approaches. As such, my approaches are client-centered and individualized to respond to who you uniquely are. I provide avenues to explore these difficulties and empower you through strengthening your personal resources and resiliency, so you are better equipped to work through adversities in life and ultimately experience greater life fulfillment. I am an advocate of exploring and applying holistic approaches and integrating mindfulness throughout the therapeutic process by offering a diverse set of techniques and interventions to best fit the needs of clients. I believe the roots of mindfulness help us to connect and understand ourselves and others; providing a base from which to ground ourselves in the adversities that life challenges us with.
